This place is almost too cool for me lol. But who cares cause the coffee is strong and complex and the pastries were IT. Vegan options and plenty of room inside plus a big fan so it stays chill.

The best espresso in Portland, maybe the best anywhere. They had two options for espresso beans when I was there and I got the dark chocolatey inspired Morro dos Padeiros (Brazil). The other was a dark and fruity inspired espresso bean. They don't offer flavors other than honey or vanilla for sweetness but that's okay. Any other flavor would have muddied the pure, smooth espresso. Alternative milks were explained, I got oat milk. For my espresso they pulled it like a ristretto.

My go to for coffee. Wether it be for just my expresso beans or to sit down and enjoy a latte, this is the spot. Enjoy your coffee with Portland vibes all around. Ambiance- True Portland vibes all around. This spot is in an old warehouse with industrial machines and a bamboo shop! Food- To be honest I haven't had the food but it looks good! Service- Very skilled coffee enthusiasts! Mean lattes and cortados. Bottom line, are you a coffee connoisseur? This is your spot.

I'm going out on a limb here, but this place might have the best cappuccino I ever had in Portland. Coava coffee house is right on top of my list when I really need a lift, with it's open space, top notch barista's and attention to detail in terms of selecting beans, roasting and production. The only con with me is, I didn't find this place earlier and that their beans are not cheap, but worth it. I walked out with a smile on my face. I really can't wait to return with friends. All & All ; Yep, this is a home run for me, cappuccino was best in class ! Congrats Coava.

Spacious coffee shop to work at on a nice day! The interior of the coffee shop is industrial and there's plenty of space to study, chat, work, or just enjoy a cup of coffee. They have a pretty straightforward menu and good coffee to go with it. Service is quick and nice.

Really great coffee and food selection. I think ended up getting a cortado and a savory breakfast pastry.

One of OG coffee houses in Portland still offers delicious coffee in an industrial setting. I like the high ceilings, huge windows and solid furniture. I feel they lend themselves to creativity. I found free parking on a side street, but there's 2-hour metered parking right outside. The only perk of the metered parking is that it keeps the sketchy vans that never leave away- iykyk I still get a kick out the fact Jerry Seinfeld was here. My service experience was prompt-unlike his Portland famous experience

One of the original cafes of Portland. Great coffee and drinks with a small pasty and chocolate selection. It is spacious and has its own unique warehouse design. It's on Grand, street parking only.

In a city known for coffee, Coava Roasters really stands out. Their coffee is rich and delicious! Because caffeine affects me in many unfavorable ways, I have to limit my intake to just one a day, and in the morning, so I have to plan my day around stopping here! But it's worth it! Inside the space has an industrial vibe. It's open with lots of light, natural colors and raw materials. And tons of room. I love it! Definitely worth stopping here for exceptional coffee. They make all the usual suspects, both hot and cold.
